SYNOPSIS
At noon on June 4, 1940, with the Chancellery at 10 Downing Street and Parliament seized by Germans who had infiltrated the British Secret Service, Winston Churchill finds the entire royal, political, and military core of the United Kingdom held hostage by German agents.
Cornered in his secret bunker, the Prime Minister faces a choice: accept Hitler’s audacious coup and declare surrender, or press forward and deliver a speech of resistance—risking the lives of the King and the members of Parliament trapped within the House of Commons.
Operating through the subterranean tunnels of London, England’s only hope may lie in the hands and courage of Mary Prichard—a "Garden Girl" and typist rejected by MI6 due to bipolar disorder—and Henrique Prass, the leader of a small group of Brazilian exiles who fled the regime of Getúlio Vargas. Together, they must strive to prevent the collapse of the Western world and ensure that Churchill does not fall victim to the "Final Solution" dagger wielded by the dangerous operative Anita Walken, better known as "Lady Death."
